Julie Silvester

Julie has been part of FSE’s leadership since 2006, initially as Head of Equity, then as Managing Director of Fund Management before taking on the CEO role in 2026. She has played a pivotal role in growing our funds under management and establishing FSE as a leading regional fund manager across the UK. Julie has personally made numerous equity investments, served on portfolio boards, and led eight successful exits. She is also FSE’s internal champion for diversity. Before joining FSE she worked in corporate finance on M&A, IPOs, and private fundraising (PE or Leveraged Debt) transactions. When not supporting innovative businesses, Julie can be found exploring new places, indulging her love of history, nature and food, or discovering new live music.
